This image shows the similarities between 5000 movies that were found by an algorithm used for the Netflix Prize. Each movie is represented by a dot with the movie title next to it. Similar movies are connected by a line. Line colors closer to red indicate a weaker similarity, and colors closer to yellow indicate a stronger similarity. As you can see, many movies tend to cluster around common genres, themes, directors, or actors.

That's pretty cool stuff kiddo... one could play with it for hours, just seeing if they agree or disagree with the similarities in the tree. It even led me to a new movie I added to my Instant Queue (ugh... more to watch!!).
